SB Resort

The initial resort had to be re-compartmentalized to create more accommodation spaces. A partial demolition and an extension were proposed . The initial gaps were overall re-designed in order to fit the new compartmentation. The footprint of the initial building was generally preserved in the proposal as well. The two simple white blocks are articulated using a wooden structure, while the main areas, like the access points, are highlighted by the exterior wood. The new wooden framework structure in the back of the building offers a suitable place for the restaurant. The space opposite from it is flooded with plants to create a visual border between the restaurant and the parking lot.
