The landscape hotel on the bed of Lake Oașa is situated in an area hidden away from the dusty mountain road and has a generous view towards the lake. The concept starts by separating the accommodation units from the restaurant-spa complex. A top-bottom, wood-concrete, sky-ground, light-heavy dichotomy was proposed which created an excavated area where nature can be admired from a special angle – from bottom up – and a subterranean area for the accommodation units, where the landscape is framed in with the help of the generous windows. The interior path starts by descending towards the reception lobby, the lounge-restaurant naturally lit from above, a high corridor and culminates with a belvedere spot towards Lake Oașa.
